Randolph, VA –Staunton River Battlefield State Park will present the annual Lighting of the Bridge on December 8, 9 and 10 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Clover Center.

In addition to the magnificent lights along the bridge on display, Lighting of the Bridge is a Christmas light festival that allows guests to partake in festive family activities such as a children’s craft table, wreath making and even a Christmas photo booth.

“Experience some Christmas spirit during a festive wagon ride down a lighted trail, where a multitude of holiday decorations and a fully lit Staunton River Bridge will greet you,” said Staunton River Battlefield State Park Manager David Gunnells. “Afterward, cocoa and a treat bag await guests at the Clover Center. We are excited to spread some holiday cheer, show off our lit bridge and interact with guests.”

The event cost $5 per car. Wreath making will be an additional $5 fee.

Most events are outdoors, so dress appropriately for the weather. For more information, call the park at 434-454-4312 or email srbattle@dcr.virginia.gov.
