Green Bay, VA – Fall in love with Twin Lakes State Park at the annual Fall Festival that will take place on Oct. 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Discovery Area.

“This event brings people together to participate in fall-themed activities, games and guests can even enter themselves and a pet into the costume contest,” said Twin Lakes State Park Manager Kevin Faubion. “The winner of the costume contest will receive a Virginia State Parks gift certificate.”

There will be snacks, drinks and pumpkins available for purchase as well as s’mores kits so guests can roast marshmallows by the campfire.

Event activities include pumpkin decorating, face painting and a leisurely hayride.

“Twin Lakes is a beautiful place to enjoy the fall foliage and connect with the community,” said Faubion. “We are excited to host this annual event, and each year we bring in something new to keep this festival fresh.”

For more information about Twin Lake State Park and upcoming events, visit the park’s webpage.
