VIRGINIA STATE PARKS

Virginia State Parks Trail Quest

Explore Virginia State Parks One Step at a Time

Trail Quest LogoYou love the outdoors. You love Virginia State Parks. Wouldn't it be great if you were rewarded just for visiting them? Well, now you can be. It's easy. Just sign up for Trail Quest and start visiting the parks.

The rewards are five unique and attractive pins. You'll get a pin for your first park visit and others after visiting five, ten, twenty and all parks.

First, sign up and print out a Trail Quest park list on which to log your visits. Go to the park and jot down the date, trail name and the "secret trail code." You get the secret code by visiting a park office, visitor center, contact station or electronic kiosk. Return to the website and enter the information to claim your reward. Pretty soon, your distinctive pin will arrive.

Naturally, you'll want to bring the family and burn some energy while you're there. Virginia has one of the widest varieties of plant and animal life in America, and Virginia’s state parks are great places to see it first-hand. Enjoy a vigorous climb for a scenic mountain view, a leisurely stroll on the beach, or a just a short, quiet trip on a wooded walkway. Virginia State Parks have trails that suit everyone.

So visit our parks and start on your collection now.
