Staunton River has one of best disc golf courses in Halifax, Va. Stop by our Visitor Center and grab a disc before hitting the course. A park interpreter will join you as we venture through the tall pines and beautiful old oaks to find our disc golf baskets. As we are going through the course our park interpreter will explain the importance of pollination to the environment. One of the major pollinators that we have in VA is the great Honeybee. Imagine your disc is a honeybee who is trying to make its way back to the hive. How much pollinating will your disc get done before it makes it to the goal?

There is no fee for this program.

Parking fees are required to enter the park unless you are a campground or cabin guest.
