|Wet and Wild Adventure Package|
|Time:||9:00 a.m. To 12:00 p.m.|
|Location:||Meet at the Boathouse|
In this three hour Adventure Package, we'll get to know Bear Creek Lake and the lakeshore environment better while learning or improving our outdoor skills. Structure, strokes and safety of canoes will be a part of a tour of the Lake. We'll also develop our hand at casting a fishing line and angling. Using dip nets, we'll find out who lives in Bear Creek's waters while assessing the water quality. The unique wetlands at the head of the lake will also be investigated to see how different species have adapted there. The interests of the participants will determine exactly which activities we do. All equipment will be provided. Participants will need to bring their own snacks and water. We may be getting in and out of the canoes in wet or muddy areas. Closed toe water shoes or sneakers required. No flip flops or sandals, please. Ages eight and up. Children under 14 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian also enrolled in the program.
Maximum of ten participants. $9.00 per person. Pre-registration required. Registration for this and all our Adventure Packages may also be made through the Customer Service Center at 1-800-933-7275.
