|Bike the Creeper Trail|
|Time:||9:00 a.m. To 4:00 p.m.|
Gurgling streams, bridges through the forest canopy, blooming mountain laurel, and scenic farmland are all yours to enjoy on the Virginia Creeper Trail. This repurposed railroad bed has been called the best rail-trail in the East, and among the best in the nation.
We will be biking 17 miles, nearly all downhill, from Whitetop to Damascus, VA. Your guides will share their favorite spots, including a break for some famous chocolate cake in Taylor's Valley, and a great swimming hole. This route is suitable for families and contains less than two miles of flat trail, the rest of which is downhill.
The $25 per person fee for this trip includes bike and helmet rental, as well as transportation to and from the trail. Pre-registration is required in person or by phone at the Park Office. Meet at the Country Store for our bus ride down.
|Extra Event Fee:||No|
