Beautiful blooms are all around us in the late spring!

Discover the importance of citizen science with a park ranger!  We will use the mobile apps Seek and iNaturalist to identify native species along the Bluebell Trail. Please download the apps before arriving. Our park is not in the coverage zone for Verizon. Those with Verizon will not be able to connect to the app during the program; however, you can still take photos and then post them to iNaturalist when you regain your cell service.

We will meet at the Bluebell Trailhead near the Canoe Launch. The hike will be approximately 1 mile on easy terrain.

For more information about this program, please email samantha.house@dcr.virginia.gov.

*We are not affiliated with Seek or iNaturalist.
