Pocahontas Premieres once again is having its Mini Bluegrass Festival. This 2024 concert brings back some performers from the past as well as some new groups performing for the first time at Pocahontas State Park. Our Heritage Amphitheater will be the stage this year for the following groups:

Josh Grigsby and County Line, based out of the Northern Neck of Va, plays traditional, contemporary, gospel music. More band info HERE.

Virginia Rain Bluegrass Band, is a dynamic and authentic Bluegrass band hailing from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, where Bluegrass roots run deep. More band info HERE.

River City Band, talented bluegrass group based out of Richmond. More band info HERE.

Tara Mills Band, based out of Charlottesville, is inspired by the Blue Ridge Mountains and the rich musical traditions tied to them. Tara Mills describes her music as, "original mountain americana;" an original blend of folk, bluegrass, and americana. More band info HERE.

Gates open one hour before show time. Admission is $20 per person, and children ages 5 and under are free. Advanced tickets are available online or at the park office. Parking fee required at all times. This event is sponsored by Friends of Pocahontas State Park and Stone Brewing Company.
