When

May 23, 2024. 8:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Gather around the campfire as sun sinks low. Listen to the crackling of burning wood, watch the glowing embers, and learn about May's Flower Moon. Why is it referred to as such and by whom? Perhaps you'll feel inspired to write down an intention for this lunar month to release into the flames.

Feel free to bring your appetite! There will be marshmallows to roast and s'mores to be had.

After some time by the fire, you are encouraged to take a short walk in the ethereal moonlight in the company of a ranger or volunteer. Bring a headlamp with a red light setting or a flashlight covered with red cloth or cellophane, so that we don't lose our night vision or disturb night-time critters.
