National Kids to Parks Day- Young Paleontologist

Interested in the world of fossils? Well time to experience what it is like to be a paleontologist who digs and interprets ancient remains.

 Spend the day exploring programs that revolve around the life of paleontologist, go digging for your own fossil, create a wicked cool fossilized shark tooth necklace, hike down to our fossil beach and learn about what goes into the being a detective of natural history. 

All Day Activities include:

Carbon Fossil Stamps

-Fossil Tub Exploration

-Impression mold ornaments

-Natural History coloring pages

-Personal Dino puzzles

Scheduled Activities include:

9:30am- Fossil Hike

12:00pm- Amber lollipops

1:00pm– Let’s Talk Fossils

2:00pm & 3:00pm– Shark Tooth Necklace Class (this class requires a payment of 10$ that needs to be paid to the Visitor Center, limit of 10 people per a class).
