April 20, 2024. 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

How would you like to celebrate Earth Day by helping out your neighbors? And by that we mean your animal and insect neighbors! Native pollinators such as bees, butterflies, and birds are in need of our help; do your part by planting native flowers at home. In this workshop, we will show you how to make seed pots out of recycled paper towel and toilet paper rolls. You'll go home with a selection of planted seeds that will bloom into gorgeous flowers, making your neighbors of all species very happy indeed.

This program is free, but registration is required due to limited supplies. To register, call (804) 598-7148 or email powhatan@dcr.virginia.gov.
