All of the park's original facilities back in the 1930's were built by hand. See the history of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) through a live demonstration of how the CCC built our park's facilities, the cabins and shelters you enjoy, without the benefit of modern technology. The program will be held at the stone building, once used as a first aid building by the CCC, at the corner of the beach parking lot.
