National Public Lands Day is one of the nation's largest single-day volunteer activity. It celebrates the connection between people and nature. Taking care of our environment shouldn't be a day event. We will show you some simple things you can do at home everyday while we go along the James River to clean up debris. We might get lucky and see some wildlife along the way. One person can make a difference and if everyone pitches in, we can make the world a little cleaner for everyone to enjoy! Please register at the visitor center in advance and we will be leaving from there.
