PROJECTS
The following is a list of major projects of the VANHP ecology group since 1990. These were all funded, at least in part, by contracts or grants and include two types of projects: 1) multidisciplinary inventories requiring integrated work by VANHP botanists, zoologists, and ecologists; these projects generally include some plot-sampling of rare community types and outstanding occurrences of common types; 2) more specialized ecological projects involving natural community inventory, intensive vegetation sampling and classification, and/or vegetation mapping.
