DCR is looking for talented people to fill positions listed below. Unless stated otherwise, you must complete and submit an electronic state application by the job announcement's close date.
Generally applications must be made through the RMS (electronic state application). We will, however, accept paper applications (Word) for some state park slots. Be sure to refer to the individual recruitment for specific requirements.
Certain positions require a criminal background check, a conflict of interest financial statement or both. Law-enforcement positions require a fingerprint-based FBI investigation. DCR is an EEO/AA/ADA Employer.

Hiring Range: $15.00 per hour
The Food Service Ranger (cook) is responsible for the safety, sanitation, and high standard of food production in the kitchen and associated areas. Insures the highest standard of sanitation and cleanliness possible in all food service, preparation, and storage areas. Maintains current SERV Safe certification or must obtain certification within 12 months of employment. Knows and uses all safety procedures (as specified in “SERV Safe” training) associated with all food services equipment and food prep and service. Ensures food is prepared only after written check/ticket is presented to the kitchen. Ensures that the highest possible level of customer service is always maintained. Prepares food and supply orders. Monitors equipment for the proper operation and maintenance and reports problems to supervisors. Performs, as the occasion requires, any additional duties requested by supervisor.
