Hiring Rate: $15.00/hour
First Landing State Park is seeking a self-motivated, organized, customer service orientated individual for a part-time office/contact position. This position will be expected to preform customer service duties in person, over the phone, and through email; and provide accurate information regarding state park services, local attractions, park fees, trail information, and park interpretive programs. This position will be required to learn how to have a full working knowledge of the park’s point of sale system as well as state park policies. They will assist guests with making reservations, checking in and out, purchasing annual and day parking passes as well as other merchandise when necessary. This position will keep all areas of the contact staff cleaned, organized, and stocked with supplies and brochures. This position will preform other office duties as assigned.

This position will be expected to work weekends and holidays. Must have reliable transportation. There are no health benefits or paid vacation leave associated with the position. Employee works a maximum of 1500 hours per fiscal year from May 1 to April 30.
A valid State Driver's License is required to operate a state vehicle or if operating a personal vehicle while conducting business on behalf of the agency.
