Don't forget a water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray. All equipment is provided, no experience is necessary. Our "Art in the Park" programs offer transportation for you and your art supplies to one of the most remote state parks in Virginia. There will be no shortage of scenic views for your artistic inspiration. Cost: $15/person, a box lunch is included. The lunch includes a sandwich, fruit, dessert, and a bottle of water. This program includes an open-air tram ride from Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge to the state park where we will walk through pristine maritime forest to the seashore, searching for owls along the way. Expect to walk 1.5 miles roundtrip, partly over soft sand. Dress for the weather and don't forget a flashlight! Cost: $10 per person. Space may be limited based on current COVID-19 guidance. There will be no shortage of scenic views for your artistic inspiration. This program includes an open-air tram ride from Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge to the state park where we will walk through pristine maritime forest to the seashore, searching for owls along the way. Expect to walk 1.5 miles roundtrip, partly over soft sand. Dress for the weather and don't forget a flashlight! Cost: $10 per person. Space may be limited based on current COVID-19 guidance.
