Open fires are prohibited throughout the park from midnight to 4 p.m. through April 30 per the 4 p.m. Burning Law. This includes wood and charcoal. Gas is permissible. Campground fires are allowed during the restricted time if a camp host is on duty and signage to that effect is posted in the campground. Failure to observe the 4 p.m. Burning Law can result in a fine. Contact the Park Office for additional information.

National Kids to Parks Day

This May, visit Natural Bridge State Park for a fun filled National Kids to Parks Day. The Base Camp Discover Area, full interactive exhibits and educational displays on local ecology and history, will be open all day. This is also a great chance to learn about the Natural Bridge by joining a ranger-led walk. At 11 am, meet at the Cedar Creek Cafe to begin this easy walk along Cedar Creek Trail and under the Bridge itself. Program will last about an hour.
