Open fires are prohibited throughout the park from midnight to 4 p.m. through April 30 per the 4 p.m. Burning Law. This includes wood and charcoal. Gas is permissible. Campground fires are allowed during the restricted time if a camp host is on duty and signage to that effect is posted in the campground. Failure to observe the 4 p.m. Burning Law can result in a fine. Contact the Park Office for additional information.

You will have only two nights to experience one of the areas most unique and affordable haunted attractions. Take a stroll through our back woods of terror trail and then see if you'll make it through the haunted house alive. Haunt admission is only $5.00 per person in addition to the daily $7.00 parking fee per vehicle. A glow stick is included with admission if desired. But be warned, you'll be spotted much easier.

We're open for all ages and offer a "no scare" entry option. Proceeds from the event will go to the Claytor Lake State Park Ambassadors, the park's nonprofit 501(c)(3) volunteer support/project Friends group.
