Open fires are prohibited throughout the park from midnight to 4 p.m. through April 30 per the 4 p.m. Burning Law. This includes wood and charcoal. Gas is permissible. Campground fires are allowed during the restricted time if a camp host is on duty and signage to that effect is posted in the campground. Failure to observe the 4 p.m. Burning Law can result in a fine. Contact the Park Office for additional information.

Celebrate Halloween in the campground!  Campers are invited to dress up in their favorite costume for a costume contest.  They should meet in front of bathhouse A from 5:00-5:30 to enter the contest.  Trick or treating in the campground will begin at 5:30 and last until 7:00.  During that time a panel of judges will be walking around the campsite judging the decorations for the campsite decorating contest.  Winners of the costume contest and campground contest will be announced at bathhouse A between 7:00 & 7:30!
