Marshes are more than great spots for fishing, canoeing, and bird-watching. They are an essential part of Virginia's ecosystem, serving as water filters and habitats for fish and wildlife. This 1-mile loop trail has stairs and narrow dirt and sand paths. Not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers. Please wear sturdy shoes and bring your water bottle. Meet rangers at the Bay View Trailhead for a guided walk and explore life in the marsh.
