When

Aug. 14, 2022. 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Find beauty in the nature that surrounds you, while learning to identify the animal tracks you may find along the way. There are many different species of native animals that can be found within the park, but often all you find are the footprints they have left behind. Keeping a nature journal can help you to document those tracks and build a long-lasting creative connection with the environment, including wildlife.

Join rangers to learn about each of these animals and their tracks, stamp their tracks into your journal, then venture out onto Long Pond Trail to find them. Rangers will be able to provide tools for writing and drawing, but journals are not provided. This program is held outside, so please dress for the weather.
