Relatively low wind-tidal oligohaline marsh dominated by pickerelweed (Pontederia cordata var. cordata), with dense creeping spikerush (Eleocharis fallax) beneath.  Near the head of a Northwest River tributary, south of Northwest River Park.  Northwest River State Natural Area Preserve.
