Freshwater Tidal Hardwood Swamp – CEGL006287
Tidal Hardwood Swamps are under stress from chronic sea-level rise as well as the introduced pathogen Emerald Ash Borer (Agrilus planipennis), which has killed most of the co-dominant pumpkin ash (Fraxinus profunda) in this stand.  Cohoke Marsh, Pamunkey River, King William County.
