Dense stand of black needlerush (Juncus roemerianus), with a fringe of saltmarsh cordgrass (Spartina alterniflora) at the channel edge, in salt marsh along the Rappahannock River at the mouth of Mulberry Creek, Lancaster County.  Belle Isle State Park.
