Well developed, channel-edge stand of pickerelweed (Pontederia cordata), with wild rice (Zizania aquatica var. aquatica) dominating a slightly higher marsh behind.  North shore of the Mattaponi River, upstream from Courthouse Landing and the mouth of Courthouse Creek, King and Queen County.
