Tidal Freshwater Marsh (Mixed High Marsh Type) – CEGL006325
Wild rice (Zizania aquatica var. aquatica) is a diagnostic, and often abundant species of tidal freshwater marshes. Unlike the early summer-blooming, perennial southern wild rice, it is a fast-growing annual that reaches maximum height and cover late in the growing season.
