Tidal Freshwater Marsh (Wild Rice - Mixed Forbs Type) - CEGL004202
Wild rice (Zizania aquatica var. aquatica) and beggarticks (Bidens laevis and Bidens trichosperma) in the tidal freshwater marsh along Ashton Creek in Chesterfield County.  The two beggarticks brighten large areas of freshwater estuaries when they flower in September and October.  Point of Rocks Park.
