Semipermanent Impoundment (unclassified)

Water shield (Brasenia schreberi, floating) and Carolina fanwort (Cabomba caroliniana, with small white emergent flowers) form dense aquatic beds around the edge of Winston Lake in the Rock Point Creek Drainage of Cumberland County.  Cumberland State Forest.
