Shrubs of sand post oak (Quercus margarettae) are common with diverse xerophytic herbs in a fluvial terrace woodland on a high sandy terrace bordering the Chickahominy River southeast of Providence Forge, New Kent County.  Game Farm Marsh State Wildlife Management Area.
