Low-statured annuals and perennials on a well-developed sand and fine gravel bar along the Potomac River in Riverbend Park, Fairfax County. The most abundant species in the stand are creeping lovegrass (Eragrostis hypnoides), awned flatsedge (Cyperus squarrosus), and false pimpernel (Lindernia dubia var. dubia).
