Coastal Plain Sand Bar / River Shore – CEGL004341

Halberd-leaf rose-mallow (Hibiscus laevis) and grasses on a sand bar along the Nottoway River, downstream from Peters Bridge in Sussex County.  Chub Sandhill State Natural Area Preserve.  Intensive inventory of Coastal Plain depositional bars is needed, as there are undoubtedly multiple community types present.
