Glasswort Salt Flat – CEGL004308

Dwarf glasswort (Salicornia bigelovii) in a salt flat being overrun by migrating dunes. These habitats are temporally and spatially dynamic, and may appear and disappear quickly as dunes and marshes migrate.  Fishermans Island National Wildlife Refuge, Northampton County.
