Sparse vascular vegetation of sticky goldenrod (Solidago racemosa) and little bluestem (Schizachyrium scoparium var. scoparium) growing in crevices of a large riverside outcrop barren at Madeira School, in the central part of the Potomac Gorge in Fairfax County.
