Fringed phacelia (Phacelia fimbriata, flowering) and cow-parsnip (Heracleum maximum) dominate the herb layer of a rich cove forest on Clinch Mountain, in the saddle between Flattop Mountain and Whiterock Mountain, Smyth County.  Clinch Mountain State Wildlife Management Area.
