Central Appalachian Pine - Oak / Heath Woodland – CEGL004996

An old table-mountain pine (Pinus pungens) on High Point Cliffs in the Bull Run Mountains, Fauquier County.  This tree has been aged at > 200 years.  Bull Run Mountains State Natural Area Preserve.
