Central Appalachian Pine - Oak / Heath Woodland – CEGL004996

A dense pine-oak/heath woodland, with mountain-laurel (Kalmia latifolia) flowering among large quartzite boulders.  Near Chimney Rock on Rocks Mountain on the Northern Blue Ridge, Augusta County.  Shenandoah National Park.
