Piedmont Granitic Flatrock – CEGL003857

The bryophyte Grimmia laevigata and the vascular succulent Small's stonecrop (Diamorpha smallii) congregate in a flatrock swale where ephemeral moisture is more abundant.  The Nature Conservancy Grasburg Granite Flatrocks Preserve, Brunswick County.
