A gnarled and twisted oak, shaped by decades of wind and ice storms, in an extensive northern red oak forest on the summit of Potts Mountain, south of Jordan Mines in Allegheny and Craig counties.  Eastern Divide Ranger District, George Washington & Jefferson National Forests.
