Non-Riverine Wet Hardwood Forest (Northern Coastal Plain Type) – CEGL004644

Sphagnous depression in non-riverine flatwoods at The Nature Conservancy's Alexander Berger Preserve near New Post, Spotsylvania County.  A strongly rhizomatous form of tussock sedge (Carex stricta) dominates the herb layer in the distance.
