Sphagnous, high-elevation seepage swamp with abundant eastern hemlock (Tsuga canadensis).  Along a headwaters tributary of Cove Branch in Potts Cove, on eastern slope of Potts Mountain, Craig County.  Eastern Divide Ranger District, George Washington & Jefferson National Forests.
