Mesophytic cliff vegetation on a sheltered limestone face with periodic seepage, along the Jackson River in Bath County.  Species such as bulblet fern (Cystopteris bulbifera), early meadow-rue (Thalictrum dioicum), wild stonecrop (Sedum ternatum), Alumroot (Heuchera americana), and wild hydrangea (Hydrangea arborescens) are common here.  Warm Springs Ranger District, George Washington & Jefferson National Forests.
