Central Appalachian / Piedmont Acidic Cliff – CEGL004391
A west-facing, acidic shale cliff subtending Cripple Creek just north of Raven Cliff in Wythe County.  Plants such as wild bleeding heart (Dicentra eximia) grow in the cracks of this cliff.  Mount Rogers National Recreation Area, George Washington & Jefferson National Forests.
