Patches of big bluestem (Andropogon gerardii) in this sandstone pavement woodland suggest that some calcium is present in the bedrock.  Walker Mountain, northwest of Pulaski in Pulaski County.  Eastern Divide Ranger District, George Washington & Jefferson National Forests.
