Post oak (Quercus stellata) and Pennsylvania sedge (Carex pensylvanica) are the dominant species in this acidic woodland on a large Silurian sandstone outcrop.  Southeastern flank of Walker Mountain, northwest of Pulaski in Pulaski County.  Eastern Divide Ranger District, George Washington & Jefferson National Forests.
