Northern Bayberry Dune Scrub – CEGL003881

Wind-pruned black cherry (Prunus serotina var. serotina) is a common associate of northern bayberry (Morella pensylvanica) in dune scrub along both sides of the Virginia Eastern Shore.  Savage Neck Dunes State Natural Area Preserve, Northampton County.
