Limestone Annual Flatrock Barren – CEGL007073

One of the larger limestone flatrock barrens near Lexington in Rockbridge County.  A sterile, not-yet-identified sedum (probably the introduced Sedum album) is common on this outcrop along with widow's-cross (Sedum pulchellum).
