Limestone Annual Flatrock Barren – CEGL007073

DCR-DNH ecologists inspect one of the limestone flatrock barrens near Lexington, Rockbridge County.  Small's ragwort (Packera anonyma), nodding onion (Allium cernuum), and poverty dropseed (Sporobolus vaginiflorus) are the dominant species on this outcrop.
