Typical woodland phase of the Ridge and Valley dolostone woodland, with chinquapin oak (Quercus muehlenbergii), eastern redcedar (Juniperus virginiana), green violet (Cubelium concolor), and Pennsylvania sedge (Carex pensylvanica) prevalent.  Pedlar Hills State Natural Area Preserve, Montgomery County.
