A drawn down, seasonally flooded interdune swale near the north end of Hog Island, an Atlantic-side barrier island on the Eastern Shore in Northampton County. Dominated by saltmeadow cordgrass (Spartina patens), with scattered maritime bushy bluestem (Andropogon tenuispatheus) and big-headed rush (Juncus megacephalus).
